The essence
To cross the revolving door of Museo Chicote is to enter a time capsule in the history of Madrid, a temple whose bar is the altar and cocktails its gods.
Founded in 1931, it was the first cocktail bar in Spain. The bartender Perico Chicote commissioned the Art Deco decoration, which is still intact, to the famous architect of the time, Luis Gutiérrez Soto.
